All are welcome to attend meetings, and we love to meet new people with a passion for our Florida State Parks! We are a diverse group with interests in all manner of outdoor activities. No need to bring anything but yourself and your enthusiasm!

The 2023 General Membership Meeting was a well attended success.
We had a great turnout for the Friends of O’Leno and River Rise Preserve State Parks annual meeting. We all enjoyed a delicious lunch.
Susan Carr, from the Alachua Conservation Trust shared a lot of great information. And Park Manager, Dennis Parson educated us all about all that is involved when preparing for prescribed burns. We even got to try our hand at the hose and learned how they administer fire to ecosystems.
If you are interested in joining the Friends of O’Leno CSO, we will have another meeting soon to discuss all the ways you can help! Stay tuned for that announcement. We hope to see you out at our parks soon!
